Wordle tips
A first word with E, A, R, T or S and no repeated letter tells you the most. Words like CRANE or SLATE do that.
If the first word found little, try five new letters instead of chasing one yellow. You rule out ten letters in two guesses.
A yellow letter is in the word but not in that place. Put it somewhere new in your next guess.
Words like APPLE and SPEED repeat a letter. When the clues run out, try the letter twice.
Many answers end in E, Y, T or ER. Fill the ending first when the start is still open.
When a few words still fit, the solver lists them all, so you can pick the one that tests the most letters.
Wordle is a daily word game. You have six guesses to find a five-letter word, and after each guess every letter turns green, yellow or grey.
Green: the letter is in the word, in that place. Yellow: the letter is in the word, but in another place. Grey: the letter is not in the word.
Check each letter and its box: a yellow letter typed in the wrong box removes words that fit. The solver also shows the first 100 words only, so add a letter to see more.
Two clues contradict each other, often the same letter typed as both grey and green or yellow. Check the rows, or press Reset and type them again.
