Church live streaming questions.
How do I live stream a church service?
Create a free account and open a template or a blank project. Add your camera or your recorded service, then connect your church's YouTube or Facebook channel. Go live now, or schedule a recorded service for a date and time.
Do I need a fast internet connection and a computer running?
For a live camera or screen share, yes: your computer stays on with a steady connection. For a recorded service, only the upload needs your connection. After that our servers do the streaming, and your computer can be off, including for a scheduled or a 24/7 broadcast.
Can I stream a recorded sermon as a live broadcast?
Yes. Upload the recording and choose when it goes live. Viewers watch it as a live stream and comment in the live chat while it plays. Every platform allows it, and some ask you to mark the broadcast as recorded; the pre-recorded streaming page lists the rules platform by platform.
Can I stream to YouTube and Facebook together?
Yes, on any paid plan. Connect your church's channels and select them for the broadcast. Paid plans send one stream to 3 to 20 destinations at once; the pricing page lists the number for each plan.
Can I keep using OBS or vMix?
Yes, two ways. Start the virtual camera in OBS or vMix and pick it as a camera in LiveReacting, then add the trivia, the comments and the branding there. Or keep streaming from OBS or vMix and add the trivia and the comments to your scene with Plugin Mode, on the Small, Medium, Large and Enterprise plans.
Can I show prayer requests and run Bible trivia?
Yes. Pick a viewer's comment during the service to show it on screen. For Bible trivia, open a Bible trivia template with its questions ready, or write your own multiple-choice questions. LiveReacting scores the answers viewers type in the chat.
Can I invite a remote speaker?
Yes. Send your speaker a guest link from LiveReacting. They join from their web browser, with nothing to install.
Can I run a 24/7 worship stream?
Yes, on the 24/7 plan. Put your sermon archive and worship videos in a playlist and set it to repeat. Our servers stream it 24/7, with your computer off.
Can our church try LiveReacting for free?
Yes. The Free plan costs nothing and does not expire. It comes with limits, three streams a month among them, and you can see all of them on the pricing page.
What is LiveReacting's cancellation policy?
You can pause or cancel your subscription at any time on your profile page, or ask us in the live chat.
